Il centro A.S.T.R.I. ֳ¨ stato creato dalla Prof.ssa Cecilia Morosini come associazione di genitori di figli con danni neurologici, osteo-muscolari ed altri problemi di ordine psicologico-psichiatrico, in collaborazione con un gruppo di medici fisiatri e consulenti di altre specialitֳ , psicologi, terapisti, educatori ed altri professionisti nel campo della riabilitazione. Essendosi sviluppato ed avendo ampliato la propria esperienza, il centro offre la valutazione diagnostica e programmi di riabilitazione a bambini, adolescenti, adulti e anziani per aiutarli a superare difficoltֳ di tipo sia motorio che di comportamento o di apprendimento con una prospettiva di integrazione sociale nella comunitֳ .
L'attivitֳ dell'associazione consiste al contempo in prevenzione, cura e integrazione sociale dell'individuo disabile attraverso una precoce valutazione della sua disabilitֳ motoria, intellettiva e affettiva ma soprattutto una valutazione delle sue potenzialitֳ . Da ciֳ² si consegue un programma terapeutico olistico, elaborato individualmente che si rivolge sia al soggetto nella sua totalitֳ che al suo ambiente. Tale programma va trasmesso e riverificato periodicamente ai genitori e a tutti i soggetti con i quali l'individuo interagisce, ed appena possibile anche al soggetto stesso.
Oltre all'attivitֳ clinica, il centro A.S.T.R.I. di Milano svolge un intensa attivitֳ didattica e di ricerca promuovendo progetti di training diretti dalla Prof.ssa Morosini e altri specialisti di grande esperienza e fama internazionale. I corsi sono rivolti ad un ampia gamma di professionisti che vengono da tutta Italia. Il centro funge inoltre da istituzione riconosciuta e abilitata per tirocinii e specializzazioni di studenti di medicina che si specializzano nel campo della Medicina Riabilitativa oltre che come campus di specializzazione post-laurea di medicina, psicologia e pedagogia.
Il centro A.S.T.R.I. ֳ¨ riconosciuto dalle Facoltֳ di Medicina e Chirurgia dell'Universitֳ degli Studi di Milano e Milano-Bicocca (in convenzione reciproca), dell'Universitֳ Cattolica “Sacro Cuore” di Milano e dell'Universitֳ Statale di Padova.

The A.S.T.R.I. Centre was created by Cecilia Morosini PhD as an Association jointly formed by parents of children with neurological, osteo-muscular damage and other problems of a psychological and psychiatric nature, and a team of physicians, psychologists, therapists, educators and other professionals, all specialists in the field of rehabilitation. Having evolved and expanded thanks to its considerable experience, the Centre today offers diagnostic assessment, treatment services and rehabilitation programs to children, adolescents, adults and elderly individuals, to help them overcome motor, learning and behavioral difficulties, with a view to their social integration in the community.
The activity of the Association consists contemporaneously of prevention, treatment and social integration of disabled individuals by means of an early assessment of their motor, intellective and affective disabilities and above all an assessment of their potentiality. This assessment is followed by an individually elaborated holistic therapeutic program addressing both the subject as a whole and the subject's environment. Each program is periodically verified and transmitted to the subject's parents as well as to all other people with whom he interacts, and as soon as possible to the subject himself.
Combining clinical, didactical and research activities, the Milanese A.S.T.R.I. Centre also promotes expert training projects, conducted by Prof. Morosini and other highly experienced and internationally reputed specialists, offered to a wide range of professionals from all over the Italian territory. Furthermore, the Centre serves as an academically recognised institution of internship and research for medical students specialising in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine as well as a campus of apprenticeship for advanced studies and postgraduate students in Medicine, Psychology and Education.

The Greek word Areté means “effectiveness”, or “reaching for one’s highest potential” - this is the fundamental aim of the Center and the reason for its name. This goal is achieved by using theory-based Feuerstein’s Program, as a basis for the Center’s activities including dissemination of Feuerstin’s theory of Structural Cognitive Modifiability and Mediated Learning Experience, and its applied systems.

C.A.M.Centro per l\'Apprendimento Mediato is an ATC accredited by the Italian Ministry for Education. It cooperates with the University of Bologna in organizing Post-Graduate Courses on Learning Difficulties, and also operates as a training centre for the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Bologna.
The Centre:
- organizes IE training for school, vocational training, business and rehabilitation purposes;
- organizes conferences and seminars on Cognitive Education and MLE;
- implements IE in schools and MLE awareness sessions geared towards parents;
- implements IE on adults and the elderly within the framework of life-long learning;
- provides consultancy for LPAD assessment.

L’obiettivo che ci poniamo è aiutare ragazzi ed adulti a raggiungere una migliore qualità della vita.. Proposte del centro:

~ Ascolto, formazione e consulenza a chi si trova in una relazione di aiuto: genitori, parenti, insegnanti, educatori, terapisti della riabilitazione, operatori Socio-sanitari.
Il centro ha una sua specializzazione relativa ai problemi di vista: può operare attraverso materiali adattati per le esigenze di ipovisione e cecità.
The aim of the Centre is to help children and young adults to reach a better quality of life through the development and enhancement of mental capabilities, autonomy and self-assessment. The Centre also provides information about Feuerstein’s methods, conducts training and supervision for psychologists, teachers, parents and therapists. Dynamic assessment of children and young adults is performed at the request of parents, schools and clinical programs. The Centre also works with visually-handicapped people, both normal, gifted and multi-handicapped: in these situations, the materials are designed and adapted for the needs of the blind and visually impaired. The activity of the Centre falls into three main categories:
*LEARNING POTENTIAL ASSESSMENT DEVICE (LPAD).
It represents a dynamic approach to the evaluation. This investigation is process oriented, it considers the learning process and focuses more on the effectiveness of present learning than on the results of previous efforts.
* INSTRUMENTAL ENRICHMENT (IE) COGNITIVE INTERVENTION PROGRAM
The major goal of IE is to enhance the students' cognitive modifiability and provide them with cognitive tools necessary for them becoming independent learners. During the IE lessons a peculiar relationship originates among the pupil, the mediator and the exercise, so that the participation becomes active and exciting: nobody feels inadequate for his task, so that the image of oneself and the willingness to engage in the work are reinforced.
*SHAPING MODIFYING ENVIRONMENT
The Centre offers a possibility of listening, training and advising for parents, relatives and teachers, so that the adults may start with their boys a relationship aimed at an ever increasing degree of autonomy.

Centro per lo Sviluppo delle Abilità Cognitive Cooperative Society was founded to help parents, teachers and therapists to learn Feuerstein method through training courses and application of Instrumental Enrichment on children. We have also intensive sessions of application of Feuerstein’s methodology on children, sharing the scientific results with ICELP, Ca’ Foscari University in Venice and San Raffaele University in Milan. We implement courses on the Guidelines for Parents and have projects for parents of little children to learn how to play in a cognitive way with their children (courses Bimbi 2-7 anni / Children 2-7 years and Giochiamo Insieme / Let’s Play Together).
We have an Agreement with Garbagnate City Council for the implementation of Feuerstein method on all the different kind of population in the city.

COSPES operates in Sardinia since 1970’s as a not-for-profit organization that belongs to the Salesians of Don Bosco.
Since 2004 Cospes is an Authorized Training Center promoting and training FIE (Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment).
The institutional aim of this Center is to offer an educational and a vocational guidance to students and adults, encouraging and supporting them in reaching a better quality of life, working with people who have special needs in order to promote their social integration.
Services provided by COSPES ATC:
